COMFORT KEYBOARD SYSTEM AWARDS - CKS SITE DESIGN

O.N.Z.C.D.A™ is simply among the very best of awards sites out there, having themselves earned, among many others, the Award Sites! Level 5.0+ Elite Award, of which they are one of only three (to the best of our knowledge). Rare company, is theirs, and thus what joy for us to learn that Comfort Keyboard has been awarded the O.N.Z.C.D.A™ Platinum Award! And now, we've recently been informed that Comfort Keyboard has been awarded the Website of the Month Award which also makes us a Nominee for Website of the Year Award 2004 - holy cow! We knew New Zealand was quite pretty, but it's nice to discover such friendly residents there, too! In the words of O.N.Z.C.D.A™ it is noted that while "the general 'surfer' views the surface of the website; we recognize the 'heart' - the 'core', the design and coding skills, how the subject is presented, whether the designer has made allowances for impaired visitors through appropriate use of image Alt Tags and readable text, technical skills applied and much more." Comfort Keyboard Systems is, of course, very devoted to our visitor experience, but how nice to add a bit of "award-winning" swagger to our designer's "invisible work" as well! For all those webmasters out there considering an award attempt, please note that Rhonda and the entire team at O.N.Z.C.D.A™ have been some of the most friendly, helpful, and constructive reviewers we've ever dealt with!

Sunset Surfers is dedicated to their awards program, web design, and helping seniors enter the world of the Internet in a manner long on patience and training, short on gadgets and superfluity. It is a wonderful program by all reports, and if you or a loved one just happen to live on Marco Island in sunny Florida, these the are people to call if you're having problems getting started with basics like email, photo-sharing, etc. Take a minute if you can, and visit the Sunset Surfers Resource Center for Senior Citizens - you won't regret it! Comfort Keyboard is proud to have earned the Gold Medal of Excellence (A World's Top Award), from Sunset Surfers, especially because they've got wonderful service offerings for people who may find their way to our site! The awards maestros always end up saying it best: "Stunning site with a truly useful purpose. I can't imagine how many you have aided with your product. Well done, enjoy your award."

There's nothing funny about winning a gold award from the curators of Circus World. Well, okay, maybe sort of amusing. But while the site is all about fun, jokes, and clowns, Jan is a respected nurse (RN) and a great lady. She's a special evaluator, given her life experiences and motives for creating her respected, Award Sites 5.0 rated (at the time of this writing) program - all the more reason CKS is proud of have received Circus World Award Program - GOLD! As Jan notes, "You have done a superior job in creating your web site. Circus World Awards Program honors webmasters who show excellence in all areas of web site design. These areas include: the site's underlying structure, site layout/appearance, content, consistency, and appropriate usage of color." Our favorite is the "Zoo" which certainly has some freakish sideshow candidates!

The American Association of Webmasters (AAWM) has seen fit to honor Comfort Keyboard Systems with the prestigious, good-looking, and just plain exciting AAWM Gold Award. "[The] Gold Award... represents the pinnacle of website design in the United States and to win this Award is truly an honor. Accordingly only a smaller proportion of our applicants will eventually secure this coveted prize as we only reward those webmasters who have excelled in all fields of our criteria." Every award bestowed upon Comfort Keyboard is an honor, and is held in our highest regard. But that name: The American Association of Webmasters... it has a ring to it, no? So we hope you'll forgive us for gazing at a blank spot on our wall from time to time. You see, the AAWM offers some really snazzy plaques (and trophies) to its award recipients... and now that we've earned the right to order one, who could resist?
